Draft 1
EVENT RENGASDENGKLOK
The Rengasdengklok incident was a kidnapping carried out by a number of youths including Soekarni, Wikana, Aidit and Chaerul Saleh against Soekarno and Hatta. This event occurred on August 16, 1945 at 3:00 a.m. WIB, Soekarno and Hatta were taken to Rengasdengklok, Karawang, then they were urged to accelerate the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, until an agreement between the old groups represented by Soekarno and Hatta and Mr. Achmad Subardjo with the young group about when the proclamation will take place especially after Japan suffered a defeat in the Pacific War.
Facing this pressure, Soekarno and Hatta remained unchanged. Meanwhile in Jakarta, Chairul and his friends have devised a plan to seize power. But what was planned did not work because not all PETA members supported the plan.
The proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia was planned to be read out by Bung Karno and Bung Hatta on Friday, August 17, 1945 in the IKADA field (which has now become a Monas field) or at Bung Karno's house on Jl. Pegangsaan Timur 56. Bung Karno's house was chosen because in the field IKADA had scattered that there was an event to be held, so that the Japanese soldiers had been on guard, to avoid chaos, between the spectators when the text of the proclamation was read, Soekarno's house was chosen on the Pegangsaan Timur street No.56. The text of the Proclamation was compiled at Rengasdengklok, in the house of a Chinese, Djiaw Kie Siong. The Merah Putih flag was raised by fighters in Rengasdengklok on Thursday, August 16, in preparation for the proclamation of Indonesian independence.
Because he did not receive news from Jakarta, Jusuf Kunto was sent to negotiate with young people in Jakarta. But when he arrived in Jakarta, Kunto only met Wikana and Mr. Achmad Soebardjo, then Kunto and Achmad Soebardjo to Rangasdengklok to pick up Soekarno, Hatta, Fatmawati and Guntur. Achmad Soebardjo invited Bung Karno and Hatta to go to Jakarta to read the proclamation on Jalan Pegangsaan Timur 56. On the 16th of the night the group arrived in Jakarta.
The next day, precisely on August 17, 1945 the proclamation statement was echoed with the text of the Indonesian Independence proclamation typed by Sayuti Melik.

Hi, Dika. It seems you are enjoy in writing, I hope for the next you keep writing. I found a little mistake on your writing. The problems are you should consider the punctuation (tanda baca) and the spelling (ejaan). For example in the sentence of "This event occurred on August 16, 1945 at 3:00 a.m" After "1945" you should add comma. Please check the whole of your writing with that problem. Then in the sentence of "Meanwhile in Jakarta..." after "Meanwhile" you should add comma too. Overaal your writing is excellent, keep writing and enjoy it. Please edit your writing, after you edited your writing, please make it DRAFT I (EDITED) and share on your blog. DO NOT FORGET TO MAKE DRAFT II, I WILL WAIT FOR YOUR DRAFT II. :)
